This Is England is one of those movies that has pretty much nothing wrong with it. It is gritty and believable while remaining just heartwarming enough not to become overwhelmingly cheesy. If you have haven't seen it, it will not disappoint. Especially the lead actor, Thomas Turgoose who is the cutest little skinhead ever!


Somers Town is the new film from the same director, Shane Meadows, and also stars Turgoose as a British runaway who befriends a Polish teen. It looks like it will have the same feel as This Is England, I'm very excited!

So these are trained professionals? Apparently, a baby bear (unless it'd a breed that remains tiny) is scared of other animals, so they keep putting him in cages with other animals to see how he reacts. I mean it's hilarious but towards the end I felt bad.

This clip is like the scene in last week's True Blood (i.e. episode 2 of Season 2) where Marianne incites the weirdo dance orgy in Merlotte's.
