Wow this animated film Fear(s) Of The Dark looks amazing. It's playing at the IFC starting Oct 24. Although, I love that IFC in theaters is OnDemand, so now my lazy ass doesn't even have to leave the house.
One of the contributors to the film is graphic artist, Charles Burns. He created the graphic novel Black Hole, about angsty teens who give each other a sexually transmitted plague that mutates them in some way (a tail, an extra mouth, weird lizard skin), which is being adapted into a film by David Fincher. I really liked the novel, and love the look of David Fincher films so I have high hopes that this will turn out well.
